Disney Reservation Drop Calendar 2026
Disney reservation windows are predictable if you know what to look for. The 60-day mark rolls forward every day, special event dining drops cluster around certain months, and a few releases every year move in minutes. This calendar maps the whole year so you know which dates to watch and how far in advance to start.

When Do Disney Dining Reservations Open? The 6:00 AM ET Rule Explained
Disney dining reservations open at 6:00 AM Eastern time, 60 days before your visit date. That's the advance dining reservation (ADR) window for table-service restaurants across Walt Disney World.
If you're staying on Disney property (including Disney Vacation Club resorts), you can book for your entire trip at once when your window opens. A family staying November 1 to 8 can reserve every table-service dinner on November 1's 6:00 AM drop. Offsite guests book day-by-day on a rolling 60-day window, which means they never have the same scheduling advantage for back-to-back nights.
Enchanting Extras experiences (Savi's Workshop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Droid Depot, the La Cava Experience) follow the same 60-day window at the same time. For a full breakdown of how Enchanting Extras drops work, including sell-out speeds per experience, see the Enchanting Extras Booking Master Guide.
For the complete 60-day mechanics, resort vs. offsite rules, and what to do if you miss your window, the Disney Dining Reservation Playbook covers every scenario.
How to Read This Calendar (and Why the Volatility Column Matters)
The table below is organized chronologically through 2026. Each row shows:
- Event: the reservation type or experience
- Expected Drop Window: when reservations typically become available
- Volatility: how fast spots disappear after release
- Alert Lead: how far before the drop date you should set a watch
Volatility ratings are drawn from observed 2025 patterns and community reports. They are not certainties.
A note on how SpotSitter fits here: For pre-drop dates, set a watch before the official release so it is ready when availability appears. For post-release cancellations, a continuing watch can alert you without requiring you to keep refreshing Disney's page. See how SpotSitter watches for the product boundaries and proof caveats.
We do not store your Disney credentials. Ever. When SpotSitter finds a spot, you tap the alert and book directly on Disney's site.

Special Event Dining: MNSSHP, MVMCP, and Halloween Party Seatings
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026. Dining and special seating reservations for party nights (including dessert parties positioned for fireworks viewing) open on the standard 60-day rolling window for each individual party date. (Source: Disney Parks Blog, retrieved August 14, 2026.)
The practical implication: if you are attending an August 7 MNSSHP, the dining drop opens around June 8. If you are attending a November 8 MVMCP, the dining drop opens around September 9. You're not booking for the whole season at once. You're booking date by date, same as any other ADR.
Ticket sale dates for MNSSHP and MVMCP are separate events that happen months earlier. MNSSHP 2026 tickets went on sale to onsite guests May 5, 2026, and to offsite guests May 12, 2026. (Source: wdwprepschool.com/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party/) Once tickets are on sale, set reminders for the 60-day marks on the party nights you're targeting.
For a full breakdown of how special event dining windows work, see the Disney Dining Cancellation Patterns guide for the timing patterns that apply to party-night reservations.
Epcot Festival Dining: Food & Wine and Candlelight Processional 2026
The 2026 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 27 through November 21, 2026, with Eat to the Beat concerts running through November 16, 2026. Concert Series Dining Packages became reservable on July 16, 2026. The festival brings the highest volume of dining-adjacent reservations of any annual event. Festival Dining packages are ticketed dining experiences that include reserved show access for EPCOT shows. They release separately from the festival itself. (Source: Disney Parks Blog, retrieved August 14, 2026.)
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 through December 30, 2026. Candlelight Processional dining packages fall within that window, but Disney has not announced the 2026 package release date.
Candlelight Processional dining packages are a different category. They combine a table-service meal at a select EPCOT restaurant with reserved seating for the Candlelight Processional celebrity narrator performance. Disney's 2026 Festival of the Holidays update says narrator and dining-package information is still to come.
Wait for Disney's official release details rather than planning around a rumored date. Once Disney publishes the date, set a watch early enough that it is ready when availability appears.
See the Candlelight Processional Dining Package Guide for release-date tracking and strategy.
For Food & Wine dining packages and table-service restaurant strategy during the festival, see the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival 2026 Reservations guide.
runDisney Race Weekends and High-Demand Seasonal Drops
runDisney race weekends bring an unusual dining pattern: high-demand Saturday and Sunday restaurant reservations that open 60 days before the race weekend, often competing against non-runner guests who simply want a table.
The remaining 2026 runDisney weekend is Wine & Dine Half Marathon (October 22 to 25, 2026). Marathon Weekend and Princess Half Marathon fall in early 2027 (January 6 to 10 and February 25 to March 1 respectively). Each weekend has distinct dining dynamics. Marathon Weekend in January typically carries the heaviest booking competition because it falls during a high-demand park period. Wine & Dine Half in November overlaps with Food & Wine, so dining pressure compounds.
For each race weekend, the 60-day dining window opens at 6:00 AM ET on the exact day 60 days before race Saturday. Setting a watch a day before that mark puts you in position the moment the window opens.
For per-weekend dining strategy during race weekends, the standard 60-day ADR window applies. Use the Disney Dining Reservation Playbook for the full booking approach.
Mother's Day, Christmas, and Holiday-Anchor Dining Drops
A handful of calendar dates every year drive outsized demand for a 24-to-48-hour spike in Disney dining. Not because Disney does anything different, but because the date itself is emotionally loaded.
Mother's Day is the clearest example. Mother's Day 2026 falls on May 10. The 60-day window opens approximately March 11 at 6:00 AM ET. Desirable brunch times at restaurants such as The Cake Bake Shop, Topolino's Terrace, Garden Grill, and Akershus can move quickly.
The Cake Bake Shop catch in 2026 took 2,395 checks across 52 hours before a spot surfaced at 4:51 PM on a Friday. That was a post-release cancellation, not a 60-day drop. Both patterns matter: set a watch before March 11, and leave it running through May.
Christmas follows a similar pattern. December 24-26 dining books fast at the 60-day mark. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2026 runs November 8 through December 22, 2026, and Disney has announced that separately priced Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Parties are returning. Disney says reservation details are coming soon; do not book around a rumored date or price. (Source: Disney Parks Blog, retrieved August 14, 2026.) Set a watch once Disney releases details.
For Christmas dessert party strategy, the same booking principles apply as any high-volatility Enchanting Extras drop. See the EPCOT Dessert Party Booking Guide for the approach.
How SpotSitter Watches the Calendar So You Don't Have To
Keeping track of which 60-day mark falls on which date, which special events have separate release windows, and which holiday anchors spike without warning is a planning job by itself.
SpotSitter watches supported availability for the venue, date, and party size you choose. When it detects a matching opening, it alerts you through the channels enabled on your account. You tap through, confirm the details on Disney's site, and book it yourself.
We do not store your Disney credentials. Ever. SpotSitter never touches your login. You book directly with Disney.
The free tier includes one active watch. For families tracking multiple dates (a Candlelight package, a Mother's Day brunch, and a MNSSHP party night in the same trip), the Founder tier covers five watches across all alert channels.
