Disney World Fireworks Dining Reservations: Where to Book and When
California Grill and Celebration at the Top: Sip, Savor, Sparkle are two Disney's Contemporary Resort options that Disney describes around Magic Kingdom fireworks views. California Grill is a full restaurant; Celebration at the Top is a separate event. Neither can promise that fireworks will run on your night.

Which Disney dining experiences have verified fireworks views?
| Experience | Format | What Disney currently says | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| California Grill | Three-course signature dinner | Disney calls it one of Walt Disney World's best fireworks dining experiences and says the restaurant dims its lights while show music is played inside. | Dinner hours, menu, price, reservation availability, and the entertainment schedule. |
| Celebration at the Top: Sip, Savor, Sparkle | Separately reservable food-and-drink event | Disney describes a fifteenth-floor event where guests eat and drink while waiting for the fireworks. | Event dates, price, inclusions, and the entertainment schedule. |
Disney says fireworks may be changed or cancelled. Treat the view as part of the plan, not a promised performance.
What time should you book around Magic Kingdom fireworks?
Start with Disney's entertainment schedule for your exact date. Then work backward from the listed show time.
A useful planning target for California Grill is a reservation 60 to 90 minutes before fireworks. That is not an official access rule; it simply gives you time to check in, be seated, and start dinner. For Celebration at the Top, follow the event time attached to the reservation. Disney recommends checking the show schedule two weeks before that event and again on the day.
When does the reservation window open?
Disney's reservation FAQ says:
- Most guests can book dining starting 60 days in advance.
- Guests with a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation can book their length of stay, up to 10 nights, starting 60 days before arrival.
- New booking windows for select restaurants become available at approximately 6:00 AM.
Book the hardest reservation first. If the ideal time is missing, check nearby times rather than assuming the full night is sold out.
For the full window mechanics, use the Disney Dining Reservation Playbook.
What can you do after the 60-day window?
Disney says a cancelled restaurant reservation is immediately made available to another guest. That creates another chance, but an opening may be taken before you finish booking.
SpotSitter can watch a supported experience for your date and party details. When a matching opening is detected, SpotSitter sends an alert and you complete the booking on Disney's site. SpotSitter does not hold inventory, book for you, or store your Disney login.
