The castle location books significantly faster than Disney Springs. If you are targeting the Magic Kingdom BBB, treat it with the same urgency as a hard-to-get dining reservation and be ready to book at the 60-day mark.
The Knight Package is an underserved angle in BBB content. Most planning guides focus on princess packages, so parents searching for the Knight Package specifically have fewer resources to work from.
Walk-ups are occasionally available at the Disney Springs location but not reliably. The castle location has essentially no walk-up availability during peak periods.
When BBB Openings Appear
The 60-day ADR window is the primary booking event. Magic Kingdom castle sessions book faster than Disney Springs. Knight Package cancellations tend to be slightly more frequent than princess packages due to the smaller demand pool.
Walk-ups at Disney Springs can appear, particularly on weekday mornings. During peak holiday periods (Christmas, spring break, summer weekends) plan on reservation-only availability at both locations.
