Each reservation covers up to 2 builders, which means a group of 4 needs 2 reservations and a parent-child pair takes the full slot. Demand from couples, parent-child pairs, and first-time Galaxy's Edge visitors keeps availability tight year-round.

Annual Passholders and DVC members who return to Galaxy's Edge repeatedly compete for the same slots alongside milestone travelers who want a shared Star Wars experience.

Walk-up availability does exist but is not reliable for weekend or holiday visits. Midweek early-morning walk-ups are the most likely scenario for spontaneous access.

When Savi's Workshop Openings Appear

The 60-day window is the primary booking event. Reservation release times can change; check Disney's official site for the current window before your booking date.

Same-day walk-up opportunities are more common midweek, particularly early in the morning before park crowds build. Weekend walk-ups are unreliable during peak seasons.
